Those of you who know me know that I miss calls on Skype all the time. Well, I found a way around this. It's called Skype Answering Machine and it's a free program for those of us who don't want to pay for voice mail. The problem is, Skype is not allowing the program to run properly. It asks me what I want to do with the program. I check the radio button that says to allow the program to use Skype. Then I hit enter and it does nothing. There is no OK button and it doesn't do anything at all. Could someone please tell me how to get this to work. I want it so freaking badly.
I think you have to install the latest version of skype, then install the answering machine. (Make sure Skype is closed when you're installing the other program.) It should work then. Good luck.
I had the same problem, and what reads_dots just said worked for me. However, the JAWS scripts don't work with the latest skype version. So after installing the latest skype, closing it and installing the answering machine open skype again, and now you should be able to locate the OK button... After you have told skype to let SAM access Skype, you can uninstall skype, keeping your history and your contacts, and reinstall your old version of skype again. This worked just fine for me.
